OUR HISTORY

Meglio and Associates was incorporated in 1978 by Mr. Tony Meglio for the purpose of marketing Industrial and Commercial Electrical Products in the Midwestern United States. We serve a territory that includes Central and Southern Illinois, Missouri and, Kansas.

Meglio and Associates has grown to be one of the most successful Electrical Manufacturers Agents in our trade area. This growth is based upon our understanding of our principals' policies and objectives, and the knowledge and control of our markets, that results from hard work and experience.

SERVED MARKETS

Electrical Construction, Utilities, MRO and OEM's

Our sales efforts are directed through Lighting , Specialty and Full Line Electrical Distributors. Over thirty years in business have produced strong and mutually suporting relationships with the key distributors in every segment of our market. We have promoted several of our principal's product lines to dominant positions in these markets.

Industrial Controls

During the past twelve years we have experienced significant growth in the industrial equipment and automation segments of our market. The Meglio sales force is vigorously promoting the products that we represent in this market by establishing the demand for these products on the plant floor and with the plant engineers and specifying engineers. Where special types of distribution channels are required, we are agressively developing the relationships necessary to increase market share.

Energy Management

Meglio's product offerings allow us to provide our industrial and commercial customers with multiple energy solutions in lighting and energy monitoring.

Through consultative selling techniques and energy audits, we identify opportunities for our energy oriented products. We are currently participating in several major lighting upgrade programs, several of which are nationwide.

OUR RESOURCES

Meglio and Associates is a member of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association (NEMRA)

Meglio currently employs eleven Outside Sales Representatives with Electrical Industry sales careers averaging twenty-three years. These sales people are capably supported by eight inside Customer Service Personnel who also have electrical experience ranging from one to twenty years.

We operate sales offices in St. Louis, Missouri; Kansas City, Missouri and; Springfield, Illinois. We also utilize a St. Louis warehouse in support of our principals.
